Six Lakes Resort and Fishing Preserve
Privacy Policy
Who we are
This policy explains how Six Lakes Resort and Fishing Preserve (“Six Lakes,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through this website, by phone, and when you book a stay. Six Lakes is part of Utah Family Lodges. If you have questions, contact us using the details at the end of this policy.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you use our contact form, call, text or email us, we collect what you share, such as your name, email address, phone number, group size, dates and message.
- Reservation information. Bookings are made through Lodgix, our reservation system. Lodgix collects your contact, stay and payment details to complete a reservation. Card payments are processed by Lodgix and its payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on this website.
- Phone call information. We use call tracking from HighLevel. The phone number shown on this site may change to a tracking number so we can tell which page or ad led to your call. For calls to these numbers we receive your phone number, the time and length of the call, and the page or campaign that led to it. Calls may be recorded for quality and training.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours collects technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, the site that referred you, and approximate location based on your IP address. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We and our service providers use them to run the site, measure how it is used, and measure and improve our advertising:
- Google Tag Manager loads the other tools listed here. It does not itself collect personal information.
- Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors find and use the site. Google’s use of this data is described at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tell us which ads lead to calls and bookings, and may be used to show our ads to past visitors on other sites. You can change your ad settings at Google My Ad Center.
- HighLevel call tracking uses a cookie to show the right tracking phone number during your visit.
- Lodgix runs the booking calendar shown on our reservation pages and may set its own cookies to make it work.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site, such as the booking calendar, may not work without them. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Our site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
How we use information

- To send messages you asked for, such as reservation details, and to follow up on your inquiry.
- To understand how our website and advertising perform, and to improve them.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your inquiry or reservation. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text messaging opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who work on our behalf, such as Lodgix (reservations and payments), HighLevel (call tracking and messaging), Google (analytics and advertising), our website host and our email providers. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- Within Utah Family Lodges, to help with your stay or answer your questions.
- When required by law, to protect the rights, safety and property of our guests, staff or business, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
Google Ads remarketing may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws. You can limit it through Google’s ad settings above or by blocking cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of marketing messages at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request before acting on it, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection for the whole site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
