Rental policies

Reservations & payment

• All reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance.
• 50% of the total lodging price is due when your reservation is confirmed. The balance is due 30 days before your stay. Reservations made within 30 days must be paid in full when booked.
• A $125 damage protection fee is added to each reservation and covers accidental damage up to $1,500. You may decline it, but your group is then liable for any damage.
• A cleaning fee is added to each reservation. Prices do not include taxes or gratuities.
• Every reservation needs a group leader over 30 years of age.

Cancellations

Cancellations made within 180 days of your reserved date forfeit 100% of the deposit. Cancellations made more than 180 days ahead are refunded the deposit minus a processing fee: 5% for refunds by check, 8% for refunds to a card. We recommend travel insurance.

Your stay

• Check-in is after 4:00pm. Check-out is before 11:00am. No Sunday check-ins.
• Minimum stays change by season. Check your dates in the booking calendar to see the minimum. Management must approve any exceptions.
• Holiday bookings are charged peak rates. Holidays are Memorial Day weekend, the Fourth of July, Pioneer Day (July 24), Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas week and New Year’s week.
• Rent 6 nights at any cabin and the 7th night is free.
• Cabin rates cover up to 15 people. Each additional guest is $15 per night, up to the lodge’s maximum.
• Children 2 and under stay free.
• Pets are allowed with the manager’s approval. A pet cleaning fee of $50 per dog, per day applies.
• RVs are $45 per day each.
• Catering is available on request with enough notice. Please call for details.

Pool, hot tubs & recreation center

• The pool and its hot tub at Cliff Lake are for guests renting Cliff Lake Lodge or the entire resort. The Loon Lodge hot tub is for guests renting Loon Lodge or the entire resort.
• The outdoor pool is heated May 15 to September 30. From October 1 to November 30 and April 1 to May 15 it can be heated on request for $199 per day, with a three-day minimum. It is closed December 1 to April 1. The spa is heated year-round.
• The recreation center rents for $300 a day on weekdays and $500 a day on weekends. The recreation equipment package is $195 a day.

Events

• Weddings: $2,995 for the day of the wedding within the property’s capacity, or $3,995 if the wedding exceeds it.
• Corporate events: $495. Events serving alcohol: $495.

Fishing

• All fishing is catch and release. See the fishing rules.
• Guided fishing must be booked in advance. Call the booking office for rates.
• Day fishing passes (rod fee) are $80 per angler. Call to schedule; which lakes are open depends on reservations. Day anglers check in for a rules orientation first.
• No fishing license is needed on the property. A Utah license is required at Big Sandwash Reservoir and other public waters.
