Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to learn about Six Lakes and plan a stay, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we have done

Text and background colors were checked to meet WCAG contrast ratios.
The site can be used with a keyboard alone, including the menus, the photo viewer and the contact form, with a visible focus indicator.
Pages use headings, landmarks and labels that screen readers can follow, and a “Skip to content” link.
Photos have text alternatives, and floor plans are described room by room in text.
Motion is limited, and the rotating home-page photos and review carousel respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
The site works when text is enlarged and on phones and tablets.

Known limitations

The booking calendar on our reservation pages is provided by Lodgix and is outside our direct control. If it is hard to use, call us and we will book for you.
Some photos in older blog posts do not yet have full descriptions.
The downloadable property map (PDF) may not be fully accessible. Call us for a description of the property.
