Six Lakes Resort and Fishing Preserve is a spectacular Utah family resort and is wonderful any time of year, but June may be our favorite month of the year. The warm days are perfect for swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, and playing in the water during the day. The cool nights are great for evening fishing, sitting in the hot tub, having a campfire, and getting a good nights rest. Families love to rent a cabin for a few days and enjoy the beautiful weather and great recreation at Six Lakes.
The activities are endless at Six Lakes Resort. Swimming in the pool and fishing are two of the favorite activities in the summer. Many groups also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and playing in the lakes. During the cool mornings and evenings in the summer you will often see guests mountain biking, jogging, and hiking on the dirt roads around the Six Lakes Resort and Fishing Preserve. On summer evenings many guests enjoy sitting in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows or hot dogs, and playing lawn games. Many families also enjoy playing volleyball, horseshoes, and basketball. Both children and adults will never run out of fun things to do at Six Lakes.
The weather is spectacular in June and ideal for fishing and swimming. The damselflies in the lakes get highly active in June and the trout feed heavily as the bugs get active. This makes June some of the best fishing of the year. Green jigs and woolly buggers about one to two inches long are effective patterns to use during the month of June and fishermen are often rewarded with large trout. The warm days are perfect for swimming at Six Lakes. While fathers are reeling in big fish, children love to play in the great swimming pool.
We hope to see your family soon at this amazing Utah family resort!
