Utah Family Reunion

This summer at Six Lakes has been spectacular. The cool mornings and evenings have been ideal for fishing or taking a bike ride or hike around the Six Lakes Preserve. The warm afternoons have been great for swimming, canoeing, and playing in the lakes. The beautiful evening sunsets have been a perfect ending to fun-filled days at Six Lakes Resort and Fishing Preserve. Here are some ideas for families that love to get together and enjoy the beautiful Utah outdoors as a family.

Plan to visit during a month that is weather and outdoor activities that your family enjoys. July and August are warm weather at Six Lakes and is great for families that love to play in the water, swim, and boat. May, June, and September are still warm months, but a little cooler than July and August. These are great months to visit Six Lakes Fishing Preserve and Resort if your family enjoys fishing, playing on the lakes, and swimming. April, October, and November are cooler weather and are great for families that enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, and relaxing in the hot tub. The winter months from December to March are great for families that enjoy ice fishing, pheasant hunting, playing in the snow, and relaxing around the warm fire or in the hot tub.

Plan ahead of time to get the dates that work best for your family. Dates from May to September book up fast, so we recommend planning ahead with your family, so that you can get dates that work well for you and your family. You will be most likely to get the dates you want if you contact us about one year before the dates you are interested in.

Talk to your family and decide on a budget that works for your family. There are several different options we offer at Six Lakes and we can find an option that works for your family’s budget. Families that want to rent the entire preserve for a large family or for complete privacy during their family event can rent the entire Six Lakes Preserve and Resort for one set price. Families that are around 30 to 50 people can rent the Loon Lodge and Eagle Cabin to have two great cabins and enough space for everyone in your group. Smaller groups under 20 people can rent either the Loon Lodge or Eagle Cabin depending on the budget. Those families with a smaller budget can rent out the campground and group use areas that have RV sites and five camper cabins.

We hope to see you soon at Six Lakes Fishing Preserve and Resort for your next Utah family reunion.
