The summer season is wrapping up in the next few weeks at Six Lakes Resort and Fishing Preserve. It has been a wonderful summer with great guests and lots of beautiful fish and wildlife every day of the summer. Families enjoyed the pool and hot tubs each day and loved riding and walking the dirt roads and trails around the preserve. There is still time to get out and enjoy the beauty and fun of this Utah Fishing Resort with your family in the next few weeks. Fall is also an amazing time to be at Six Lakes Resort and Fishing Preserve. In this blog we will share some of the amazing things about the fall at Six Lakes.
The fall months at Six Lakes are some of the best fishing of the year. The cool evenings and mild afternoons produce great bug hatches and actively feeding fish. The big trout are feeding on crayfish, minnows, midges, blood worms, and ants. Fishermen that are interested in catching other species can also find good bass and bluegill fishing on a few of the lakes using woolly bugger and leech patterns. It is a great time of year to come out and catch some good fish.
September is a great month to be at Six Lakes for swimming and water sports. The warm afternoons is great for swimming in the pool and lakes and the cool evenings are wonderful for soaking in the hot tub. The calm mornings and evenings are amazing for kayaking and paddleboarding on the lakes and fishing.
The mild weather also keeps the wildlife active most of the day and you have a great chance of seeing lots of wildlife during your stay. Deer, rabbits, coyotes, minks, eagles, and hawks are active around Six Lakes during the fall months.
We hope to see you at Six Lakes this fall for some of the best fishing and wildlife viewing of the year at Six Lakes Resort and Fishing Preserve!
