Six Lakes Resort and Fishing Preserve is the best place to spend summer days with your family or group of friends for a lake vacation. There are endless summer activities to enjoy on the Six Lakes Preserve and your group will never run out of things to do. During the cool mornings and evening groups love to explore the property, sit in the hot tub, and fish in the lakes. The warm afternoons provide the perfect opportunity to swim in the pool, kayak and paddleboard on the lakes, boat on Sandwash Reservoir, and play in the lakes.
Mornings at Six Lakes are a perfect time to mountain bike and hike around the property. The dirt roads and trails winding through the property are great for biking, hiking, and jogging. The rising sun over the lakes provides beautiful scenery as you take a morning bike ride or hike. The waterfalls around the property, rising fish, and red rock cliffs will give you a great excuse to stop and enjoy the scenery while you get your morning exercise.
In the afternoon, all summer long the high sun provides warm temperatures that are perfect for playing in the pool and lakes. There is no shortage of water at Six Lakes Fishing Preserve, there are private lakes all over the property and canoes at each lake allow you to play in the water at every turn. The recreation center and swimming pool is great for small children and families that love to play in the pool. On the east side of Six Lakes is Sandwash Reservoir. This reservoir is quiet and is great for boating, wake surfing, waterskiing, and jet skiing. Many summer groups bring their boats and jet skis and enjoy the hot afternoons boating at the state park.
Evenings at Six Lakes are great for fishing, sitting in the hot tub, playing yard games and volleyball, or relaxing on the deck and watching the sun set over the lakes. As the sun starts to set it is a magical time at Six Lakes. The sky and lakes light up with orange and pink colors and the fish start to rise. It is a perfect time to fish or to just relax on the deck or in the hot tub.
